Job Title: Senior Scala Developer | £350pd Inside IR35 | SC Clearance Client: Public Sector Organisation Location: Remote-first with occasional travel to UK client locations as required Rate: £350 per day Inside IR35 Duration: 02/11/2026 - 31/03/2027 Clearance: Active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance Overview An exciting opportunity for a Senior Scala Developer to join a major public sector programme supporting the delivery and enhancement of critical live services. Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of scalable applications while helping to deliver high-quality digital services. Candidates with previous public sector experience, particularly within revenue, taxation or large-scale government environments, will be highly regarded. Required Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience developing applications using Scala. Experience working within Agile software delivery environments. Ability to develop, maintain and support high-quality production systems. Active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.
